Brookfield: The Brookfield Fire Department has on order a new ambulance, FMO vehicle and EMS fly car.
Bridgeport: Engine 1 and Rescue 5 should be delivered within the next few weeks.
Stratford: Stratford's Sutphen 75' Mid Mount Quint for Engine 2, should be delivered within the next few weeks.
Milford: Milford is currently spec'ing a new pumper to replace Engine 5.
Bridgeport: Engine 1 and Rescue 5 should both be completed and delivered from Pierce in September. Both are Pierce Arrow XT apparatus.
Kent: The Kent Fire Department placed an order with Firematic for a BRAT on a Ford Chassis which should be delivered early next year. They will also have a new ambulance before the end of the year. There is a group searching for a used aerial truck as well.
Washington: The Washington Fire Department is currently in the spec'ing stages for a new pumper truck.
North Branford: The North Branford Fire Department ambulance will be back in town tonight (8/27) from being refurbished and the second one will go out in about a week or so.
Ansonia: Ansonia Rescue Medical Services took delivery of two ambulances this week. One is refurbished on a Freightliner chassis and the other is brand new on a Ford chassis.
Danbury: The Danbury Fire Department has a new F-250
pick-up and Ford Expedition being prepared for service for the Asst
Chief and SRV vehicle. They are also getting ready to order a mid mount
aerial truck.
Meriden: The Meriden Fire Department Seagrave Tiller is in Windsor Locks at Fleetmasters getting outfitted for service.
Canton: Canton Fire should be taking delivery in October of two 4-Guys on Spartan Metro Star chassis 750GWT 1500GPM.
Somers:
The Somers Fire Department took delivery of a Squad 146 and Squad 246
which are a pair of 4-Guys on Spartan Gladiator chassis rescue pumpers
1000GWT 1500GPM 30FOAM.
New Milford: The new
Gaylordsville pumper I posted about a few months ago is a 4-Guys mounted
on an International 4x4 chassis 500GWT 1500GPM w/ a large hose bed.
Beacon Falls: The Beacon Falls Fire Department has been given the approval for funding for an aerial truck.
Milford: Car 4 will be assigned a 2013 Ford Expedition which is currently being outfitted for service.
New Haven: Pierce
has been awarded the bid for Engine 5, Engine 9 and Engine 11. They
will be built on a Arrow XT chassis. E9 and E11 will be identical to E4
minus a few details such as a slightly longer cab. E5 will be longer
as it will have a 500GWT/500FOAM/1500GPM.
Derby: The Derby Fire Department has taken delivery of a Ford Pick-Up truck which is being outfitted as the brush truck.
